On Wednesday, September 6th, at the A plus A Gallery in Venice there will be the presentation of the book «Un’apparizione di superfici» (An appearance of surfaces) by Luca Panaro.
The author talks about the new role that photography has acquired in the last years, especially with the massive use of smartphones and dedicated applications. Cultural, social, and semiotic symbols represented through photography move to the background, while the sociologic aspect is enphasised.
If you analyse the pictures that every day are posted on bloggers and igers profiles, you can understand how, in this way of thinking and producing images, you can find an iconography of the present.
The presentation will take place in the spaces of the A plus A Gallery, in the „The Breakfast Pavillion“ project, developed by Marco Campardo and Lorenzo Mason (M-L-XL) and Luca Lo Pinto with the special participation of Maria Jeglinska.
Drusian will accompany the event with its Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG.
