4/6 large apples
80/100 g of dry biscuits
4/5 tablespoons of organic strawberry jam
½ cup sugar
½ glass of the recommended wine
½ glass of plain water at room temperature
20g butter and some for the baking dish
Recommended wine: Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze D.O.C.G.
Wash the apples and do not peel them, remove the central core up to half with the tool. Break up first and then finely chop the cookies and put them together in a large bowl with jam and wine. Mix all. Grease a baking dish with butter. Stuff the apples with the mixture of biscuits, jam and wine and then arrange them in the baking dish basting with water, the butter on each apple and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in hot oven at 170 C degrees for about fifteen minutes until you see slightly caramelized surface and by testing the area with a toothpick.
